As part of our 2022 Travelodge major refurbishment programme with £16 million, the London City Road site underwent a top-to-bottom internal refresh, including the creation of a brand-new bar café area designed to elevate the guest experience and maximise space in this busy urban hotel.
The scope included:
• A completely new bar café concept fit-out
• Full internal redecoration of bedrooms and communal areas
• New carpets and vinyl flooring throughout
• Minor electrical upgrades to lighting and guest-room controls
• Ironmongery replacement and bedroom furniture repairs
• Bathroom upgrades including vanity units, new tiling, and sanitaryware replacements
Located in a high-footfall area of central London, this project required a tightly managed programme, with limited access, minimal noise, and no interruption to ongoing operations. All delivered on time as part of a wider national schedule.
